House Nation returns to Block 8 with two of Japan's hottest house DJs, Natsuyo and Sayako Grace. Swedish DJ-producer Agaric takes White Rabbit revelers into the slower, deeper dimensions of techno. Australian electronica four-piece Regurgitator, innovators of the electro rock sound, unleash an avalanche of tweaked out rock at MAO Live House. And the hardest working blues-jam band in Shunyi, Woodie Alan, perform at Danny Pearl World Music Night, a special performance at the Orchard to remember journalist Daniel Pearl.

Techno maestro Chris Liebing, innovator behind the hard-hitting schranz sound of the '90s, throws his latest, more downtempo tech tracks with the venerable Acupuncture DJs at Tango. Beijing's favorite drum 'n' bass and tech crews go head to head in a Syndicate vs. BaiCai rematch at White Rabbit. Lo-fi, indie poets, Rubber Phonograph Needle, bring their unique brand of pop to D-22 with Fire Balloon and Wu and The Side Effects. And a-level, Comedy Central and Letterman alumnus Andy Pitz performs world-class stand-up comedy at Block 8.

Director Diao Yi'nan screens and fields questions about his second film, Night Train which chronicles the relationship between a female prison guard and widower of an executed inmate in Shaanxi Province, at Yugong Yishan. And Beijing folk scene Dongzi returns to D-22 with his acoustic guitar and spellbinding voice.
